"We had tickets for the UAB Gospel Choir Spring Concert on the main floor about 15 rows back. The guitar playing of UAB Gospel Choir Spring Concert was very good, as were the instruments and background vocals. Unfortunately, the vocals in the sound system were very muddied and hard to understand, which put a dim on a great night. The same problem occurred the last time he played at the Orpheum. Another couple mentioned that the background vocals where they were sitting drowned out UAB Gospel Choir Spring Concert's vocals. It might be hard to go back to hear UAB Gospel Choir Spring Concert at the Orpheum or any other group. Improvements are needed, either with a better sound system and/or sound board operators."
